This is something I found by accident. I wanted to make a front page for wordpress but I didn’t want it to take up menu space. Here it is:
Build a page, one to fit your front page.
Go to Settings->Reading->Set your front page to this page.
Then go to the page in your admin and make it private.
There it is front page and no menu referrence.
We pay $1000 dollars for a dishwasher and the thing doesn’t clean the dishes. Why?? because they took the phosphates out of the dish washing soap. Why?? Phosphates are a natural occurrence. If God did not intend for it to be used, He would not have allowed man to use it. If these environmentalists really want to go back to the cave man days, I can recommend a few places for them to go. The greatest country in the universe and our advancements in science are being reduced by a few. Please leave.

We saved over $1200 dollars a year by converting our water cooler to a bottle free water cooler. I searched the internet for a solution to buying Sparklets drinking water and did not find anything. Times are tough and $100 dollars a month could be used some where else. I put together a conversion kit that you can tap into your water line using an ice maker water line kit and run a line to your water cooler. It will automatically fill the tank instead of lifting a bottle or running to the store to fill a bottle. We also put a simple Culligan water filter inline and voila Bottle Free Water Cooler.

You can also use this kit to modify your counter top coffee maker. I have not tried it but you can tap into your kitchen sink water supply using an ice maker supply line kit from lowes or home depot. Use the a power cord plugged into the dishwasher power or garbage disposal power under the sink. It should be installed by a handyman or some one that knows how to work with electrical. Get someone to help you if you don’t know how. Water and Electricity do not mix if you don’t know what you’re doing.
I went to Auto Zone to get some door panel retainers for my truck. They have a special tool to pull them out with and it costs $10. I said I’ll use a pair of needle nose. I like to have every tool I can get my hands on but times are tough and you have to cut down some where…… tools?? I found a pair of old nut crackers in one of my junk boxes. Worked perfect.
Odd thing happened today. Noticed that the Status Bar of maximized applications were underneath the TaskBar in Windows 7. Obviously annoying and I have no idea what caused this behavior.
After tooling around awhile, I unchecked the ‘Use small icons’ checkbox and clicked the ‘Apply’ button. This fixed the issue, and when I went back and re-checked the ‘Use small icons’ checkbox again it stayed fixed.
Go figure.

Works initially. I haven’t been able to run all the tests. I don’t game. At least when I open a window and it is behind the taskbar I can click it and it will take the focus.
