Windows 7 Taskbar Not Always On Top
Odd thing happened today. Noticed that the Status Bar of maximized applications were underneath the TaskBar in Windows 7. Obviously annoying and I have no idea what caused this behavior.
After tooling around awhile, I unchecked the ‘Use small icons’ checkbox and clicked the ‘Apply’ button. This fixed the issue, and when I went back and re-checked the ‘Use small icons’ checkbox again it stayed fixed.
Go figure.
The preceeding post was lifted from http://www.davestone.net/blog/post/Windows-7-Taskbar-Not-Always-On-Top.aspx. I lifted it because I could not register at davestone.net to tell them I was appreciative.
Works initially. I haven’t been able to run all the tests. I don’t game. At least when I open a window and it is behind the taskbar I can click it and it will take the focus.
